Warden system not working

Not a day goes by without reading complaints in the newspapers about traffic wardens. Recently even the Ombudsman joined the chorus. The whole country is fed up with a system designed to waste the citizen's time and our beloved politicians do not seem to care a hoot.

The traffic system needs an overhaul; or it may require drastic improvement. We improved it by switching some traffic lights to amber; we improved it by allowing cars in some bus lanes. We now need to improve it again by switching off the traffic warden system; it is simply not working.

I suggest that we need to have the well-trained police take charge. We certainly cannot allow amateurs to play about with traffic systems. Traffic wardens are amateurs. Remove them!
