The Tennis Section of the Marsa Sports Club are currently holding the British Airways Open, the 35+ tournament and a handicap competition, all sanctioned by the Malta Tennis Federation.
Competition started earlier this month and the last matches from the series are scheduled for May 29.
Tennis Section organisers Antoinette Pace, Louise Dowling and Anna Gusman are assisted by tournament referee Oswald Tanti in running the 14 events in competition.
All national squad members are taking part in the Open in their build-up to the Federation Cup, in Turkey on April 25, and the Games of the Small States of Europe.
The men's singles winner in the Open gets Lm260 and Lm100 await the runner-up.
The women's Open winner and runner-up get Lm150 and Lm80 respectively.
The men's doubles Open final will be played tomorrow. The singles finals are scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
