I refer to Stripe Search (On The Dot - April 11). The maintenance of Belisha lights falls under the responsibility of the local councils.

The Malta Transport Authority had, however, issued and distributed guidelines to the local councils for signage and carriageway markings which contain details of standard designs for such crossings.
