The advice given by the police authorities to David Finegold (March 26) under "disabled parking", that "disabled parking" on yellow lines is legal, should be more clear and specific. There are single lines and double lines. There are also reserved yellow-lined boxes with a "no disabled sign".

Different interpretations by various wardens are confusing. Therefore, the appropriate authorities would be most helpful to all disabled persons entitled to the blue sticker were it to issue clear and correct information on where to park, so that unnecessary parking tickets could be avoided.
