The Antiques Dealers Association is to hold another fair after the one it held in October proved to be a success.

A wide variety of antiques, including furniture, silver, paintings, jewellery, porcelain and other collectables will be on display.

The fair is considered to be an opportunity for connoisseurs and collectors to view and buy high-quality antiques, which include not only inexpensive collectors' items but also fine period furniture of both Maltese and English origin, the organisers said.

Last October, ADA dealers said that, apart from antique furniture, antique silver tea sets and trays proved to be the most popular in the silver section.

Buyers are guaranteed that all the items on show are genuine, each being vetted prior to the fair's opening, the organisers said.

The Antiques and Fine Arts Fair and Exhibition will be open on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at St Dorothy's School, in Zebbug. Ample parking is available and entrance is free.
