Are we taking this pleasure for granted or are we becoming a rude nation? Whether you are professional performers, or children of various ages singing and dancing the hearts out or merely the paying audience - all want to be able to enjoy a play/film/show without the constant babble of conversation in front, behind or from the sides.
Yes, in Malta we do love to talk but, please, there is a time and place for everything and it makes me so very angry when I have to strain my ears to concentrate on the performance because of selfish people.
In future, if you find it necessary to hold a conversation with a person while in an auditorium be thoughtful, get up, walk out to the corridor and only return when your conversation is finished. Or better still, wait until the interval or the end of the show.
Come on folks! Please make going out to the theatre or cinema a pleasure not something to be dreaded because of mindless motor mouths.
