The Antique Dealers Association (ADA) is organising its second fair of antiques next weekend.
The fair, which is being held at St Dorothy's School, Zebbug, will exhibit a wide range of furniture, silver, paintings, jewellery, porcelain and other collectables.
The fair presents and excellent opportunity for connoisseurs and collectors to view a wide range of high quality antiques that are not only inexpensive collectors' items but also fine quality period furniture of both Maltese and English origin.
Last October, ADA said that Victorian pier cabinets and Edwardian display cabinets were the most sought after pieces. Antique silver tea sets and trays also ranked well on the list.
ADA guarantees buyers that all the items are genuine. In fact, each item is vetted before it is displayed at the fair. "We want visitors to buy with confidence," ADA said.
The Antiques Fine Arts Fair and Exhibition will be opening on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Parking space is available. Entrance is free.
