Rise in new orders

An overall rise of 35.3 per cent was registered in the total industrial new orders index in January this year compared to the corresponding month last year, the National Statistics Office said. The domestic new orders index registered a rise of 45 per cent while new orders for export also increased by nearly 37 per cent.
