Sports festival on campus

The Students Sports Festival returns to campus on April 21-22 with an impressive line-up of sports events coupled with demonstrations, sport exhibitions and live entertainment.

All sports federations have been invited to show off their best and promote their sport.

The event kicks off on April 21 at 9 a.m. when the Olympic torch will be lit. Competitions take place on both days between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Guest bands Bitterside and Bus Stop as well as local DJs will enliven the venue with music. The closing ceremony will be held on April 22, starting at 9 p.m.

The event requires an enormous amount of preparation, organisation and volunteer assistance.
