Spring thoughts on Christmas

Ir-Razzett tal-Hbiberija plans to hold an ambitious promotional activity, called 58 Days of Christmas, starting on November 14 and closing on January 8.

A winter wonderland of colourful lights, animation, static displays and a Christmas shopping fair are planned, so that the park will become the place to shop for Christmas.

The centrepiece will be Santa's Shopping Village, a tented area housing 26 retail booths surrounded by an additional 10 food and concession stands.

A giant tent will cover the outdoor pool area where daily activities, children's shows and talent competitions will be featured.

The lower half of the animal park will be turned into The Enchanted Forrest, a magical place ablaze with colourful decorations and displays provided by supporting business and their staff.

Children will be able to ride the Enchanted Forrest Express, the park's miniature railroad train ride through this never-to-be-forgotten feast of excitement.
