The HSBC Cares For Children Fund has continued distributing books to primary schools in the inner harbour area, with the presentation of some Lm400 worth of publications to the Marija Immakulata primary school in Cospicua. The books were presented to Miriam Bartolo, the head of school, by HSBC southern area director Francis Gouder during the school's prize day.

"This initiative reinforces HSBC's support for the fight against illiteracy and the determination to help to provide all children in Malta the opportunity to obtain a good education," Mr Gouder said.
