A collective art exhibition entitled Wine and Vineyards is being mounted by Camilleri Wines at Gallery G in Lija.

The collective exhibition includes over 40 artistic works by 12 Maltese established and upcoming artists, namely Anna Galea, Lawrence Buttigieg, Catherine Cavallo, John Martin Borg, James Vella Clark, William Azzopardi, Denise Borg Millo, Alex Dalli, Celia Borg Cardona, Anna Grima, Arnold Sultana, and Carlo Jourdan.

Claudio Camilleri, head of sales and marketing at Camilleri Wines, said: "The artistic works making up this unique exhibition have been produced by the participating artists following our invitation asking them to give their personal interpretation of wine, the vineyards and anything that may be associated with the art of wine in general. We believe the industry of wine making is an art in itself and we pride ourselves in promoting our wine as a genuinely high quality Maltese product".

The exhibition is part of Camilleri Wines' recently launched project Supporting Arts and Culture, an initiative that seeks to foster greater appreciation towards art and the close ties that exist between art and the culture of wine.

The exhibition will remain open for public viewing until April 8.

Further information about the exhibition, the artists and their respective works may be obtained from Camilleri Wines' newly created website www.camilleriwines.com
