Three small bombs exploded in the northern Italian city of Milan overnight, injuring no-one but causing slight damage to businesses, police said yesterday.
The first device exploded outside a McDonald's fast food outlet at 2.30 a.m., the second bomb hit an automatic teller machine at a branch of bank Banca Intesa while the third blast hit a Blockbuster video rental store.
Police said no-one had claimed responsibility for the attacks, which used three different types of explosive devices.
