I paid my bill the day after I received it. Nonetheless, I never got a receipt nor a simple acknowledgement. When I contacted the department by e-mail, I got a very straightforward reply. "Dear Sir, please be informed that we don't issue any receipts for payments made through internet banking." As if nobody is receiving the payment.
I followed this by a call the next day to the person signing the e-mail. He told me that I can use the bank's statement as a receipt. As if! Very fine, from now onwards, I will continue using the old, slow system... by cheque. At least I get posted their adequate receipt.
