I refer to the article Brief History Of Time (March 9) and to the article Times Less (February 22).

The double-sided clock featured in The Times (March 9) and located in Sliema was checked and the necessary maintenance works carried out.

The clock in question was functioning properly until a technical fault occurred a few days ago in the display sign, causing the double-sided clock to stop functioning.

The Malta Transport Authority (ADT) wishes to notify that the necessary repair and maintenance works are currently underway on all ADT clocks to ensure that the functioning of such clocks is reinstated for the convenience of all road users.
