Charged with injuring two men

Lawrence Galea, a 43-year-old Hamrun man, yesterday was charged with assaulting and slightly injuring two men, and being in possession of a knife.

Galea pleaded not guilty and Magistrate Antonio Vella granted him bail against a personal guarantee of Lm2,000.

Police Inspectors Joseph Mercieca and Carol Ellul prosecuted.

Dr Kris Busietta appeared for the accused.
