A Birkirkara man was yesterday conditionally discharged for three years after he admitted to damaging a man's car when he hit it with a wheel brace after an argument.

Jason Mamo, 26, pleaded guilty to causing over Lm70 damage to Paul Leone Ganado's car in Luqa on August 26, 2004.

Magistrate Saviour Demicoli heard Leone Ganado explain that Mamo had paid for the damage caused.

The magistrate bound Mamo not to approach Leone Ganado against an Lm100 fine in default.

Police Inspector Malcolm Spiteri prosecuted.
