The Metropolitan Cathedral Chapter in conjunction with St John's Co-Cathedral Foundation and the Music Studies Programme of the University of Malta will be presenting a special Easter concert at St John's Co-Cathedral, in Valletta on March 22 at 7.30 p.m.
University students from the Music Studies Programme of the University of Malta will sing the Stabat Mater, accompanied on the organ by Sharon Gauci.
The Collegium Musicum will sing the Requiem and will be accompanied on the organ by Romina Morrow with Annmarie Camilleri Podestá on the harp. Sarah Spiteri will play the violin solo.
The Collegium Musicum will also be participating in the Holy Week celebrations being held the following week also at St John's.
Entrance to the concert at St John's is free.
