Air Malta joined forces with Malta International Airport's fire services section to conduct a number of practical and theoretical training sessions for cabin crew.

The sessions, held over a number of days, tackled various scenarios in the unlikely eventuality that an emergency occurs.

For the practical sessions Air Malta put at the disposal of participants one of its aircraft and other equipment to create an emergency scenario that would be as close to reality as possible. Following the practical exercises debriefing sessions were conducted for the participants to review and give feedback on their experience.
