The Victoria Hotel has presented its bi-annual awards to members of staff in appreciation of their commitment and service.

Two awards were presented: Achiever Of The Season - Winter 2004 and Best Department - Winter 2004. The Victoria's awards are presented during the winter season and in summer. The winners are selected after information is gathered from the guests and through the assessments provided by the hotel managers.

This winter The Achiever Of The Season Award went to Josef Sapiano, housekeeper supervisor. The front office team won the Best Department award for the dedication and courtesy with which they daily carry out their duties.

The awards were presented by the acting general manager of The Victoria Hotel, Claire Xuereb, and the chairman of the AX Group, Angelo Xuereb.
