'Successful' cinema day
About 15,000 people visited Eden Century Cinema outlets in St Julians and Fgura on Children's Cinema Day last Saturday, described by the organisers Eden Leisure Group as one of their most successful to date.
Apart from being given the opportunity to view films at special rates, the children were entertained by face painters and animators.
The most successful film of the day was The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, closely followed by The Incredibles, the promoters said.
The day was organised in conjunction with KRS film distributors.
