Two men were yesterday fined for employing a Libyan man when he did not have a work permit.

Anthony Zammit, 35, of Siggiewi, was fined Lm550 and Michael Zammit, 34, of Qormi was fined Lm500 after they pleaded guilty to illegally employing Hafidh Moftah Bilkhair on and before February.

Zammit also admitted to relapsing.

Magistrate Dennis Montebello presided over the case.

Police Inspector Angelo Gafà prosecuted.
