Beangrowers are about to jet off for their second trip to the US following an invitation to return to the South by South West (SXSW) festival held in Austin, Texas.
The SXSW is the US's biggest music fair, with the participation of thousands of people from the music industry including artists such as Robert Plant, Graham Coxon (Blur), Fatboy Slim, Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Bloc Party and Elvis Costello.
The band will be playing a total of three concerts, as well as a live performance on Fox TV.
Beangrowers have just released a new single Dance Dance Baby, the title-track from their new album. The guitar-driven album has a raw and more powerful sound than previous releases. It contains the first single You Are You Are as well as The Priest, which features in the Wim Wenders' film Land of Plenty.
Beangrowers will be giving a live warm-up gig at The Alley in Paceville tonight.
