Like Alex Ciantar of Balzan, I too received two citations of Lm30 each for contraventions carried out on the same day - December 14.

But the reason why is totally different.

More than two years ago, my son left the island for good. So I decided to garage his motorcycle rather than sell it just in case he changed his mind and came back. This was on January 8, 2003.

Apart from all this the motorbike needs some repairs, making it impossible to use on the road. So can the authorities explain how the warden on duty at 8.24 a.m. in Garakol Street, Ghaxaq, was able to issue such citations without the road licence and the number plate since they are garaged at the ADT and the motorcycle has never been on the road since then and always kept in my garage in Swieqi?
