At this stage children are into everything. They are eager to discover the contents of all your drawers and cupboards, how long it takes to empty the linen basket and how best to catch the cat unawares and pull its tail.

They will trail around behind you and be fascinated by what are boring and mundane tasks to you. They are learning about observing, perceiving relationships between objects through comparing and classifying, linking cause and effect and problem solving. Here are some examples of how you can help.
