Charged with drug trafficking

A Hamrun man was yesterday charged with trafficking in heroin two years ago.

Joseph Borg, 42, pleaded not guilty to the possession of heroin and trafficking in the drug on and before January 2003.

Police Inspector Josric Mifsud prosecuted.

Dr Roberto Montalto and Dr José Herrera appeared for the defendant.
