Two hundred oak trees, donated by the Bank of Valletta, have been planted at the Ta' Qali National Park.

The donation is part of the 34U (Tree For You) campaign launched by the Ministry of Rural Affairs and the Environment and underlines the bank's commitment to support initiatives that promote a better environment, BOV said.

A plaque was also unveiled at the Oak Tree Circle in Ta' Qali marking the bank's support for the campaign.

The Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment, George Pullicino, urged more companies to come forward and accept the government's invitation to take part in similar projects.
