Alderman Michael Savory, Lord Mayor of the City of London, paid a courtesy visit on Bank of Valletta chairman Roderick Chalmers at the bank's head office in Valletta.

The two discussed various matters of common interest related to BOV's active role as a major financial institution in Malta, with special reference to its ongoing efforts to promote the island as a financial services centre.

The support provided to businesses by the bank's representative office in Libya was also discussed.
