The curtain Raiser Theatre Troupe and Voices choir have made donations amounting to over Lm1,300 to the Appogg Children's Fund.

The troupe presented Lm855 from the proceeds of their Christmas performances Disney Tunes.

These performances, under the artistic direction of Patrick Vella, included a variety of popular songs from the best Disney animated films and cartoons.

The Disney Tunes cast also gave their personal donations to Appogg, these were raised by buying T-shirts and souvenirs of the performances that were on sale outside the theatre.

Voices, on the other hand, donated Lm500 to the fund from the proceeds of their 2004 concerts - Voices Extraordinaire.

The 220-strong choir and eight-piece band performed an all-new repertoire of 23 popular songs.
