The Malta Feline Guardians Club (MFGC) will be holding its first cat show on Sunday, March 6, at the Corinthia San Gorg, St Julian's.
The show will have three categories: A, for pure breed kittens (three-ten months old); B, pure breed adults (11 months and over) and C, domestic cats.
Trophies will be awarded to the cats that place first, second and third in each category. Other trophies will be awarded to the best cat in the three categories and for the best decorated cage. Other prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Members of the public attending the show will also be eligible to win prizes.
The cat show will be under the auspices of the International Cat Association of USA and sponsored by Eukanuba.
Those interested in participating with their cats, can apply by filling in the application form which can be downloaded directly from the Website. Application forms should be filled in by Wednesday. Those who apply to take part in the cat show will be invited to an informative meeting.
