The inclement weather that hit the islands during the past few days has forced the Malta FA to postpone yesterday's two Premier League matches at the National Stadium.
Valletta were due to face Marsaxlokk in the opening Champ-ionship Pool match at 2 p.m. followed by the Birkirkara-Hibs clash.
The Malta FA announced that these matches will now be played tomorrow at the same venue at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the same order.
At the time of writing, today's Premier League programme at the Hibs Ground had not been postponed.
Lija Athletic face St Patrick at 1.30 p.m. followed by the Sliema vs Floriana match.
On Friday, Sliema president Robert Arrigo sent to the MFA a number of proposals he wanted to be considered if today's programme is called off. The Wanderers are opposed to playing their matches at the Centenary Stadium if these are called off.
