Two teachers from the Immaculate Conception Primary School in Cospicua, Mary Siracusa and Stefan Azzopardi, visited the Caegrw Primary School in Wales as part of the school's participation in a Comenius Project financed by the European Union.
The project allows schools from different countries to collaborate with each other and be exposed to different cultures. The other three schools are from Wales, Germany and Italy. Pupils exchange letters and e-mails, schools exchange pupils' work while teachers visit each other's schools to learn from different practices.
This year's focus is music and crafts.
The two teachers observed new and interesting ways of developing the project and discussed teaching methods with their foreign colleagues.
As a result of the visit, pupils of the different schools taking part in the project will be working on a number of activities in connection with this year's theme.
