Teachers go back to CMTU
The council of the Malta Union of Teachers has unanimously decided to withdraw its suspension from the Confederation of Maltese Trade Unions, the union said yesterday.
The MUT had decided to suspend its affiliation arguing that comments made by the CMTU and the Union Haddiema Maghqudin did not promote trade union unity.
The MUT had subsequently held a meeting with the UHM in which they had discussed the MUT's affiliation with the CMTU.
