On January 31, the well-known author Trevor Zahra was greeted with great enthusiasm at Sir Temi Zammit Boys' Secondary School, Mtarfa.

He had been invited by the teachers of Maltese and the head of school.

Mr Zahra spoke about the inspiration for his stories and answered all students' questions related to the books being studied at school and other readers published during the years.

The author signed more than 100 readers brought by students and teachers for this occasion. The pen he used was later presented to Samuel Mallia, a Form 1 student.

The teachers of Maltese worked hand-in-hand with students to prepare for this special occasion and took the opportunity to donate Lm30 worth of books for the school library.
