HSBC Bank has installed a new ATM in the building housing the offices of the Mgarr local council in Malta.
It brings the total of HSBC ATMs in Malta and Gozo to 63.
The new ATM will serve the needs of some 3,000 residents who up to now had no banking facilities in the village. Over the past months, HSBC has been upgrading and improving its network around the two islands.
HSBC chief executive officer Shaun Wallis said the bank had plans to further improve its retail network.
