A Paola man has been jailed for four months and fined Lm100 after he admitted to the possession of 60 ecstasy pills with the intent to sell them over six years ago.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano heard how Muscat had been found in the possession of Lm200 worth of pills on his way to a party.
On handing down judgement the magistrate noted that Muscat had a clean criminal record, had cooperated with the police and had filed a guilty plea.
He also noted that Muscat had changed his ways over the years and had since gone through an enormous family trauma.
