Power cable damaged

An power cable was damaged when a private contractor was carrying out road works in San Pawl tal-Qlejja, limits of Mosta, yesterday morning, Enemalta said.

This caused the electricity service to be interrupted in parts of Mosta, Maghtab, Salina, Naxxar and Burmarrad. Measures were immediately taken to restore the supply and the electricity service was restored in all the affected areas by 1 p.m., Enemalta said.
