South Africa's Justin Onvlee and Sweden's Karin Alkstedt both remained on course for title success in the Dubai Junior Regatta as the penultimate day of racing was cut short yesterday by light and shifting winds.

Only one of three scheduled races was held for both the Laser 4.7 and Optimist classes, and all the main honours in the Emirates Airline-sponsored event will now be decided over three back-to-back races off Dubai International Marine Club today.

Malta is represented in the Optimist class by Karl Cremona and Matthew Fleri Soler in the Laser. Both are currently out of the top six positions in the overall provisional classifications.
