Rain disrupts St Paul's feast
Yesterday's procession with the statue of St Paul in Valletta was cancelled by the collegiate chapter because of rain.
The procession will now be held on February 10, the feast day proper, according to Etienne Montfort, president of the Ghaqda tal-Pawlini.
The popular afternoon march, led by the La Vallette Band, went ahead as planned yet it was held in a chilly northwesterly wind. This year's feast was celebrated yesterday because February 10 coincides with Ash Wednesday.
