Vodafone's SMS offer extended

Vodafone Malta Ltd has announced that it is extending its 1c SMS offer for prepaid customers until March 31.

By simply topping up with a Vodafone Lm6 card, prepaid customers benefit from a 30-day period in which they can send SMS to other local Vodafone numbers at just 1 cent.

Vodafone Malta Ltd brand manager Alison Bezzina said: "Benefitting from Vodafone's 1c SMS offer is simple. Customers need only top up with a Lm6 top up card, and they can start making calls and sending 1c SMSs. There is no need to pay for bundles in advance and no need to send complicated SMSs to register. And the best thing is that there is no limit on the number of SMS that can be sent at 1c, as a customer can choose to top up with any other card within the 30-day period and still benefit from the same rate. Furthermore, any credit remaining in a prepaid account after the 30-day period is not lost, but is simply switched back to the customer's previous plan."

The Vodafone Lm6 top up card can be purchased from Vodafone retail outlets and authorised dealers. Those customers who use up this credit within the 30-day period will still be sending their SMS to other Vodafone numbers at 1c each, even if they top up their account using another Vodafone top-up voucher. At the end of the 30-day period, customers can then purchase another Vodafone Lm6 top up card to extend the period during which they can send SMS at 1c for another 30 days.
