For once, Germany coach Juergen Klinsmann will not be too concerned if his side concede a lot of goals when they take on a Bundesliga international XI in tonight's benefit match for tsunami relief.

"I hope the fans see an attractive game with a lot of goals," Klinsmann said. "The important thing in a game like this is the spectacle. At the same time, our thoughts are with those affected by the disaster."

The battle between Oliver Kahn and Jens Lehmann over who should keep goal for the hosts at the 2006 World Cup has given Klinsmann plenty of headaches since he took over as coach last year.

Kahn made several costly mistakes for Bayern Munich over a tense first half of the season, while Lehmann has lost his place at Arsenal to Spaniard Manuel Almunia.

The two keepers should play a half each today and they can expect a heavy workload against a Bundesliga side led by Bayern's Dutch striker Roy Makaay and featuring eight Brazilians from around the country.

The German FA and the Bundesliga, joint organisers of the match, hope to raise up to four million euros for the relief effort for the Asian tsunami. The match is taking place at Schalke 04's stadium in Gelsenkirchen, the venue for last season's Champions League final, and 45,000 tickets have been sold so far.
