Junior College students are hosting one of the Spotlight On Shakespeare evenings at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

A preview scene from the Junior College soiree, directed by Simon Bartolo, will be performed on the main stage together with a performance by the Junior College choir.

During the event, the Manoel Theatre's artistic director Tony Cassar Darien will be giving a talk on the history of the theatre. This will be followed by a short talk by Clare Thake Vassallo on teaching and studying Shakespeare.

A discussion will follow.

The evening, dedicated to students, should be particularly interesting to those who study literature or who have an interest in the theatre.
