All attention at the Ta' Qali pavilion tomorrow will be focused on the BoV KO when the semi-finals in both men's and women's competition will be played.
Pembroke, the holders, should reach the final at the expense of Depiro while Luxol face the stiff challenge of Hamrun Liberty.
Pembroke are in a rich vein of form this season-winning all matches they contested so far with the exception of the MBA Shield final.
Joe Galea's Reds have already held the upperhand over Depiro. Still, they should never underestimate their opponents who produced some upset victories against stronger teams this season.
The Hamrun-Luxol semi-final is the most balanced fixture on programme besides the women's KO semi-final between cup specialists Hibs Go Mobile and perennial rivals Depiro Still.
Luxol will look to this match as an ideal occasion to make up for their surprising midweek 63-71 defeat to Footwork in the league. Perhaps, coach John Tabone should realise that the time of tinkering with his squad is over. Against Footwork he failed to start with his best formation and the experiment backfired.
Hamrun will be without Alan Borg but the team has hit top form lately following two convincing victories.
Hibs face a stern challenge from Depiro who will be looking to halt their rivals' record in the competition. Hibs have won it 10 times in all, the last five on the trot. Depiro coach Charles Bonnici has won many an honour but not the BoV Cup.
Sisters Dorianne Galea (Depiro) and Lucienne Bezzina (Hibs) will play a key role tomorrow although no one should discount the contribution of the other players in the two teams.
Depiro will have Josephine Grima and Joselle Cardona back from Priolo for this particular match. Hibs will be missing Caroline Fenech through injury.
The other semi-final will be between Naxxar Danone and Luxol Vodafone. Naxxar have strengthened their squad recently as Luxol coach Kevin Zammit seeks more consistency from his players.
Action from the league match between Pembroke and Depiro.
