Trees planted at Maghtab

WasteServ has planted a number of trees in Maghtab on the occasion of Arbor Day.

The tree-planting was held in the vicinity of the Maghtab gatehouse and is part of a new landscaped grove aimed to regenerate the area. Different species of trees and shrubs were planted, including pine, olive, cypress and the saltbush.

WasteServ said the project formed part of a larger plan that includes the planting of several hundred trees and other endemic plants, particularly suited to the site, in an effort to regenerate and redevelop this particular area.
