The Ministry of Urban Development and Roads spent Lm31,757 for the transfer of its offices from Cavalier House to the House of the Four Winds in Valletta and the office of the EU Directorate in Floriana.

Minister Jesmond Mugliett said in reply to a parliamentary question by Noel Farrugia (MLP) that Lm1,616 was spent on the transport of furniture, Lm10,948 on the purchase of furniture and Lm19,193 for alterations and other works. Competitiveness Minister Censu Galea said that with the change of ministerial portfolios his ministry had spent Lm8,075 on the purchase of new furniture, Lm4,745 on whitewashing and Lm1,369 on transport of furniture. Mr Galea pointed out that the ministry had absorbed two new directorates, which necessitated alterations and the purchase of furniture.
