Juve loan Legrottaglie to Bologna

Italy international defender Nicola Legrottaglie has moved on loan from Juventus to Bologna after failing to win a place with the Turin club.

Central defender Legrottaglie joined Juventus in June, 2003, but struggled during his first season and he has barely featured since Fabio Capello took over during the close season.

The 28-year-old, who has made seven appearances for Italy, made his name at Chievo before switching to the Delle Alpi stadium.

His loan deal will run until the end of the current season. Bologna are currently 14th in the 20-team Serie A.
