Industrial production in Europe

Industrial production in the eurozone last November fell by 0.3 per cent compared to October, Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Communities, estimates.

Production fell by 0.6 per cent in October after a rise of 0.7 per cent in September.

Output in the EU25 declined by 0.2 per cent in November 2004, after a fall of 0.4 per cent in October and a rise of 0.6 per cent in September.

Compared to November 2003, industrial production in November last year rose by 0.5 per cent in the eurozone and by 0.9 per cent in the EU25.
