Party thrown to promote saving at an early age

More than 300 BOV Young Savers were entertained by their mascot, the popular Cikkurillu, to a party thrown at the hall of the Birzebbuga primary school.

Cikkurillu distributed gifts to all children present with the help of Abby and Slippy the clowns. The children were asked to colour a drawing of Cikkurillu and prizes for the best drawings were awarded to Gianluca Lia and Annalise Farrugia.

Charles Vassallo, manager of BOV's Birzebbuga branch, said the event was held to provide an enjoyable experience to the children and to increase the awareness about the BOV Young Savers Account and to encourage savings from a very early age.
