Twenty-one persons were arrested in connection with illegal gambling following a raid in Marsa by the police vice squad yesterday.

Amusement machines used for gambling and monitors showing overseas horse-racing via satellite were found during the raid on a shop in Race Course Street.

A number of people found on site had "considerable" amounts of money and items related to illegal gambling, the police said.
