Charged with fuel theft

An Attard man was yesterday charged with stealing diesel from two cars.

Magistrate Anthony Vella heard Roger Muscat, 53, plead not guilty to stealing the fuel from the cars of Victor Farrugia and Mario Grima and handling stolen property on and before Wednesday.

Muscat was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm2,000.

Police Inspectors Kevin Farrugia and Victor Aquilina prosecuted.
